The welding class at Pine City High School requires students to pay a $15 lab fee. Please make checks payable to Pine City High School. *Cash may be taken to the front office for a receipt. Students who do not pay a lab fee will receive an “I” grade. If you have concerns about the lab fee you may contact me about the matter.
Students are also responsible to bring in a pair of welding gloves for skin protection. Gloves can be purchased through the instructor for $7. Although lab coats are provided, students are responsible to wear clothes that are safe and suitable for welding. This includes pants and shoes. Anyone who comes to class without access to a proper welding uniform will not be allowed in the lab and also be given a referral and/or extra book work. There is lockers available to keep clothing items in the classroom.
